And her parents sound like completely amazing people.

At my old job, one of our clients had a receptionist who was a complete angel, the whole company (ours as well as her own) just adored her...we got to talking one day and I found out she'd been a foster parent. I asked her how many kids she had, and she told me a number. I said "What?! I heard you wrong - you didn't say fifty-four, did you??" She said, "Oh no, dear. SIXTY four." They adopted a large number of them, too. She joked that no matter where they go in the country, they always have a son or daughter to stay with. :-) They have something like 50 acres in Iowa and a huge house - I guess they just had plenty of room and plenty of love...foster parents and families are a special breed of wonderful folks. Your friend (and the whole family) must be going through a pretty rotten time.

(Oh, and thanks for the Rose Quartz flashback.)Alysonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03670791696220623341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10051639.post-78295724198594103152007-09-10T18:34:00.000-03:002007-09-10T18:34:00.000-03:00Even though I'm not usually a pink sort of gal, th...Even though I'm not usually a pink sort of gal, the Rose Quartz is one of my most favourite colourways.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10051639.post-81760657524661757752007-09-09T13:03:00.000-03:002007-09-09T13:03:00.000-03:00OMG...that is horrible news.
