Married with 2 boys, two dogs, and a fish tank. I am basically a self-taught knitter of 30+ years (started when I was around 10 years old). My maternal grandmother gave me my first set of knitting needles (which I still have) and some pink and purple yarn.

You have certainly been a busy lady with all your decorating and knitting.
I am in the city for the week to watc the Canadian Olympic curling trials. I can't believe all the people who are here. There are 12 Americans in front of us, Torontonians beside Nancy and Sudbury ON beside me. And everyone just having a wonderful time. I took my knitting with me but have decided there is just no way I can watch 5 games at once and concentrate on knitting.
I'll be in next week buy some black Pattens wool, so if you have any will you put 2 balls away for me. The shop in Mahone Bay is out and Heather there told me that the Pattens is the same. I would like to get that bucket hat done for Lauren again now that I have the right pattern.
