Thirty-Five

August, 1972
Unsure, 'bout the same time?

Me and my great-grandmother. (Dad's mother but technically she was his grandmother.) See the dog? Next is me and great-grandfather. (Dad's father but technically he was his grandfather.)

About two months old-ish here. Doesn't that lampshade look like the Devo hats from the Whip It video? (Only square, not round.) Ah, the seventies.

Apparently I was told that I had an awful thing about turning everyone on tv bright red. I actually ruined one tv Dad got brand new from Eatons. He took it back and said there was something wrong with the color, not letting on I got at it. No one ever could get the color back to normal.

The dog was in pictures taken of me when I was a few months old. (Though he was in a lot better shape, has a bow around his neck.) I think he was around before me and not bought just for me. He's 35+ years old. The bear belonged to my brother. He got it for his first Christmas, so it's 44+ years old. Ma washed him when Chris was little and faded him all out. I can't part with either one. I have a lot of other stuffies from when I was little. I know pretty much where they all came from. I can't easily part with most stuff like that.

Lots more to post, but I'm out of time. Truck is going to get looked at for some quotes today.

Happy knitting!
