One of Fifty-Two
Added: Sockapalooza sign-ups are open! You've got about 48 hours to join! Let's go! (It's now 10:30am April 11.)
One of Fifty-Two for 52 Pair Plunge, aka April socks for SAM3.
Natural light -- it's pretty accurate with the true color.
The snow is melting pretty fast. I figure it will be gone by the weekend. There's a lot of grass showing in places. Yesterday the boys went outside to play. The green and yellow things they are using to make snow cones and rectangles were mine. I got them when I was probably eight or so. Antiques!
Up next -- socks for the munchkins out of this Brooklyn Handspun bought a year or more ago in Thomas the Train colorway.
Happy knitting!

These are great, I love this pattern, and they look so comfy! You're so brave - SAM3 is enough of a challenge for me! :0)
Your socks look great and I love that color and that pattern.
The socks are lovely. Don't you just love Cherry Tree Hill?
I have some Dublin Bays made from Lorna's Laces that are a favorite pair of socks....yours are gorgeous in the Fall Foliage colorway!! GO - GO - Go in your 52 pair plunge!
What do you do with all those socks?! That pair are beautiful and I love the yarn for the new ones.
Good luck on your 52!
Wow! Look at those colors! I love the way Eye of the Partridge looks with these colors... and the eyelets. Gorgeous.
Love your Dublin Bay's! I have some Fleece Artist that I have set aside for a pair of these socks - I think the colourway would look great as Dublin Bay.
I've joined in the Sockapalooza this time around! I just hope I can make some great socks for my pal, and that I don't screw up on them! I'm so paranoid, LOL!
Absolutely beautiful socks! I'll *so* have to try that pattern too!!! And I really love the colourway you've been using - gorgeous indeed!
Beautiful socks. BTW... I signed up :-) Lucky you with the snow over there... we did not have a winter at all this year.
I stopped by the shop tnight -- Maary told me you have found a Bryspun needle source for me! and I spoke to K. re: Austerman colours (had mine on, and let her touch - told her they are Whiskey colour, and told her I like the Pink & Turquoise -- she said she'd look into getting them ordered soon!
Also - did you read YoYo's post today? Apparently the Yarn Pirate is going up on Sweet Sheep's shop tonight at 7 EST -- lots of nice colours.
If you want to call, I'm in until about 8 p.m., and if not, email me -- tom.heather@ns.sympatico.ca
