Long time no post. I've tried off and on over the past couple of weeks, but Blogger would NOT let me upload any pictures. I've been fiddling around tonight with it, and I finally got it to work. Since there are a few things to show (basically everything I've completed so far this year) I will link to my Ravelry page so you can see more detail if you want.
First up I made three pairs of felted slippers. The top pair are mine, the other two pairs are whoevers. The pattern is my old faithful
Felted Clogs from Fibertrends. The yarn is
Patons Classic Wool except for the salmony colored slippers, that's one strand of PCW and one strand
Galway. Details
here.
Also completed this month is an infinity scarf. The pattern is
5th Avenue Infinity Scarf, the yarn is some cheapy cheapy worsted weight yarn I bought at Zeller a few years ago, dirt cheap, 70% acrylic, 30% wool. It's really quite pretty. They yarn is kind of splitty. It said machine washable and dryable. I did machine wash it in cold water, but I air dried it. I don't machine dry hand knitted items even if it says it's machine dryable. I think it they items stay nicer if they are air dried. Details
here.
I also made a couple of pairs of plain vanilla socks for my Dad. His birthday was December 30, but I didn't get these finished until January 21. He knew he was getting them, though. The yarn is
Mary Maxim Step It Up. I won't buy this again unless it's dirt cheap. I didn't care for it, kind of splitty and twisty. Reminds me somewhat of the Noro sock yarns buy not as thick/thin and twisty. Knit on 2.5mm needles, 68sts, heels over 34sts, toe to 24sts, details
here.
I have another
infinity scarf on the go as well right now, and I also joined
this KAL. I noticed a boo-boo in it last night and had to rip back two repeats. I doubt T would ever notice, but I saw it and knew it was there, so I had to fix it. Details on my project
here.
Happy knitting!

The colour is gorgeous!
The color on the first pair of socks is SO pretty! Sad that the yarn wasn't nice to work with. :-(
I'm knitting with Zauberball right now and finding it pretty splitty too.
