Footies, aka June Socks and SOS #1

Finished footies. Started June 27, finished June 30, really late, almost didn't make it! The blue is Kroy in Norfolk Blue, the stripey is Regia Jacquard. Standard vanilla sock foot, 60sts, 2.25mm needles, toe to 20sts. Start with the picot cuff and go right into the heel. These are my June socks for the SAM5 KAL. They are also my first pair finished for the Summer of Socks. (Not in any contests there, so the lack of cuff is not important.)



I have enough Kroy in whitecap and another breed of Regia Jacquard to make another pair. First, though, I have to finish my mother's socks. They'll be my July socks for SAM6 but won't count for SOS since I started them before the June 21 start date.

Have a nice Canada Day everyone! We are just chilling at home. Hubs has to go to work tonight. He has a Sobeys meat load to take to the boat.
