Gifted

I have started the process of putting at least my sock yarn stash on Ravelry. I think I have most of it, maybe missed a couple of skeins. I'll have to get them next time. I may not bother with the rest of the stash. We'll see. It takes some time, that's for sure. The rest of my stash isn't very interesting, but I do have some nice sock yarns. (darganknits on Ravelry)

Went to Knit Nite last night. I enjoy that so much. I really don't get out much, especially nowhere without the kids in tow. The girls are such a fun bunch! I'd so love to win the lottery and open my own yarn store and pay them all extremely well to work for me. Well, it wouldn't be like work, I'm sure! And the store would probably never turn a profit, but we'd have fun! (If I was rich it wouldn't matter if it didn't make money.)

So I worked on this. It's cable socks from the Patons Stretch Socks book in the Sugar colorway, for my mother.

Marti had started a pair of toe-up socks in the Plum colorway. I really liked how it looked knit up. Nova Knitter had started a pair the same way in the same color, but the toe wasn't looking right. She didn't like working with the yarn at all, so she gave it to me. Squee! I foresee vanillas as well.

Fellow Knitterpudlians, you'd better be hanging with me at the store for awhile on the 14th cuz you're advertized! Everyone will want to know who the Knitterpudlians are. :)

When you win the lotto -- call me! I would be there in a heartbeat.

I will bring you the fishbowl soon ... just deciding which one and what size. Do you have a preferance?

I would love to work in a yarn shop. I agree though, it really wouldn't be like work at all. Too much fun!
