Long Weekend

I had to work Friday night and Saturday, so we didn't head off to the camper til Saturday after supper. I am working on one of my design baby sets for the store. I'm using Patons Beehive Baby Sport for the first time. This picture doesn't have very good color. I took it late at night inside the camper. It's classic feather and fan. The size is 0-3 months.

I found a package of "pearl" beads and added them to the bottom. I am making a matching bonnet, and that will have beads along the edge as well.

Jewel got a new toy Saturday at about 4pm. This is what it looked like (just pretend that there aren't any holes in the purple part).

This is what it looked like less than two hours later. Within another hour it was totally demolished. The rope was torn into thousands of threads, so it bit the big one. I should know better than buy her anything like this. I have to stick to rubber toys. This thing also had a squeaky, and anything that has a squeaky MUST be torn apart til the squeaky is found and squeaks no more. She's my Evil Baby.

She's being very sooky tonight. She was mucho bad. We went to a shelter today, and we left her in Hub's Caddy at first. She was freaking out the entire time cuz she couldn't see us, and we dared leave her in the car with all those dogs barking. Anyways, she got to come visit after awhile. When Hubs went to the car to leave he noticed that she had bitten the front passenger door and put a hole in the vinyl. He was not impressed. We'll have to see if we can get it repaired. Like I said, Evil Baby. Good thing she's cute.

This weekend at the camper it was Christmas. Here's our camper decorated. It doesn't look like much since I had to do it in when it was almost dark on Saturday night. It was done very hastily.

Santa was in several places, this is one of our friends' lots.

I thought this was quite nice. I like the Merry Christmas sign.

These people usually win for best decorated seasonal site. I didn't hear if they won this year or not, but they probably did. The campground wasn't as decorated as it usually is, and it was a lot more quiet, too.

My BF called tonight. She got her socks and had the Cherry Tree Hill ones on as we spoke. She was still hanging onto the ones I made her last summer, even though one was totally wore through in the heel. I told her she'd have to let me know when she needs more.

Happy knitting!

Abby and Gus had one of those frisbee toys. They totally devoured theirs really quickly too.

The baby sweater is really cute. The beads are a really nice touch.
