The Easter Princess

Today is my little Princess Nala's 15th birthday. My cranky old lady, but I love her lots. I've had her since she was 6 weeks old. First thing this morning she was crying for her treats. Oh, wait - she does that every morning, lol.

There was also an Easter egg hunt. The boys got some new DSi games they wanted and new t-shirts from us, the candy in their baskets, and some Backugan toys.

The Easter Bunny filled up plastic eggs and hid them around the house. It was wet and rainy, I can't remember the last time he could do an outside hunt. This afternoon, however, it's sunny and warm.

Finally have some knitting to show. I finished up a pair of socks for Hubs out of Bernat Sox that I got at a Knit Nite exchange we had in February. It's just a simple 2x2 rib with a 1x1 twisted rib cuff, knit on 2.75mm needles, 64sts, colorway is desert storm. Ravelry details here.

I also finished up five pairs of felted slippers of various sizes, all knit with Patons Classic Wool and this pattern. Ravelry details here.

On the needles now is another pair of socks. I thought I'd have all kinds of knitting done once the store closed, but so far it hasn't worked out that way.

Happy knitting, and Happy Easter!

We had the opposite weather. Sunny in the am and then rain in the afternoon. Happy birthday to your princess! We are down to one cat and she bugs me for treats every morning and every evening when I finally sit down to watch some tv.
The boys looked happy with their loot! Aren't holidays so much fun!
