First off in this post I'll catch up on a couple of things I don't think I ever posted. First was from early in the month, the Oldest One (navy jacket, playing the trumpet) marched in his first parade with
the band. This was the Fire Prevention Parade.
Next up the Littlest One joined the rest of us and got glasses.
I caved to peer pressure and bought some sock yarn cuz I saw
Redknitz made a pair, and I wanted a pair, too. Plain old 60st vanilla socks, heel over 30sts, toe to 20sts. I used 2.5mm needles, the yarn is
Patons Kroy in brown rose marl, started October 15, finished the 24th, eye of partridge heel with 3 garter stitches on either side.

lOVE the band pic. He looks very proud to be marching in the parade!!
Nice socks too!
Great photo of your Oldest , you must have been so proud of him !
The youngest looks very handsome in his new glasses . Love the frame ! They sure didn't make such nice frames back when I was a kid .
As for the kitties , that pic made me smile .The expression on their faces , like they only just tolerated you taking the photo , too funny !
Haha - I often have four cats vying for my attention - I know how you feel!
