22.5 Degrees

I was looking at my FOs so far for 2011 the other day, and they seem to be down quite a lot in numbers from previous years. I find since the store closed my knitting time is less. I think it's because where I work now I work from 1-5, five days a week. The mornings normally involve taking the dogs for a walk, housework, errands/grocery shopping, then it's time to go to work. Then by the time I get off work, get the boys, make supper, go over school work, etc, I don't get a lot of knitting time before I hit the hay. When the store was open I worked the same hours each week, but it was over two full days and a half day or three full days each week.

I did finally manage to pull off a FO. This is 22.5 Degrees, started October 5 and finished November 19. I used a 3.25mm circular needle, the yarn is Seacoast Handpainted Superwash Sock yarn in mountain rainbow, gifted from Smoking Hot Needles. I made this for the Boss Lady at work for Christmas. Ravelry details here.

Pumba is feeling sooooooooo much better since starting insulin! He's back to his old harassing self, meowing a lot and following me everywhere. He slept on my head/pillow most of the night last night, which he hasn't done in a long time. He's eating well (though he's not happy about only getting fed twice a day at needle time), and I'd say by the feel of him when I pick him up he's put on some of the weight he lost. I'm sure the vet would say don't let him put it all back on, but I'd like to see him gain back 4lbs or so, that'd be half of what he lost.

Didn't your mother ever tell you not to get so close to the tv? Or in this case the computer monitor!

Happy knitting!
