Can't wait to make something with this yarn. Any suggestions on pattern?Progress on my Quill Lace socks from Knitty. I'm using On Your Toes Bamboo (75% bamboo, 25% nylon). These socks are going to be given to the Oldest One's school for their monthly raffle draw. I figured lacey and pink would be good since it's being drawn on Valentine's Day. I'll try to get a better color shot when they're finished. This one doesn't really look like it does in person.
Why won't he play with me?! He plays with that silly mouse thing with the ball.
This is why Jewel gets upset and barks at Simba. He plays with this right in front of her, so then she wants him to play with her. I'll have to try to get a video clip of it, it's really quite amusing.

Lovely yarn! What a great colorway!!!! I have no idea what pattern to suggest. I cannot wait to see what you may come up with though. I am sure that watching Jewel interact with Simba is funny. Tee-hee I can picture that.
OOps! I forgot to mention the lace sock! It looks like it is coming out quite nice and I am sure it will be a hit for the raffle.
Oh, the yarn looks fab! I'm so happy you've finally got your pu! She's gorgeous! No wonder she didn't like to stay in the crate. Our dogs sleep in the crate during the day, but the door is always open. They stay in there for emergencies, but they love to snooze in there during the day. I wish you good luck and lots of fun with your Jewel! :o)
Hi, I'm finally catching up on some blog reading while I have a few minutes at work.
Jewel is so precious! She looks so soft, too. I just want to roll on the floor with her and play.
The Quill Lace sock looks good. I may have to try that pattern. And I love the Slithern yarn.
How fairs the weather up there? Cold and rainy here.
Really nice yarn , curious to see what you knit with it. The possibilities are endless aren't they ? Love the pic of Jewel with Simba . Much the same happens at our house. the cats can't understand why Bingo is barking and just turn away tails in the air . Too funny !
