I finally finished a blanket I had started with the intentions on making it a baby blanket. It turned out way bigger than I thought it would, roughly 42" wide and 48" long. So I decided to keep it for myself for a lapghan. It covers my legs and feet quite nicely while I'm knitting. We were thinking about getting a pop up camper or a hybrid camper (we haven't had a camper for years), it would be good to take camping. The yarn is
Premier Yarns Kitten in sunshine. I got it dirt cheap.
Ravelry details
here.
Before I finished the blanket I made a couple of pairs of socks. This first pair is going in the Christmas gift box,
Show Off Stranded Socks in
Mary Maxim A Step Above in prairie grass. (Another yarn I got dirt cheap, I think it was $5.) Details
here.
And lastly a pair of vanilla socks knit with
Patons Kroy FX in celestial colors. Details
here.
Now I'm working on another pair of socks for a Christmas gift. I frogged a sweater I was working on a long time ago, had probably 3/4 of it finished, but the pattern was one of those that don't give you exact numbers. Just like cast on til you have enough stitches to fit around you, increase so many every so many rows til it fits around you.... it was top down in one piece. But I like patterns with exact numbers that tell you exactly what to do. I think it was going to be too big but the arms probably too tight anyways. So I am going to maybe make
Flax with the yarn instead. I won't probably cast on for that until I have the socks finished. But I might, lol.
Happy knitting!

The blanket looks nice and cozy - perfect for camping and bonfires!
Wow that's a lot of knitting. I love the colors in everything, very fun. I am just discovering the joy that is Patons Kroy sockyarn. It's squashier than I was expecting and I kinda love it for my latest project.
