Sockapalooza Socks Arrived!
My Sockapalooza socks arrived in the mail yesterday! I tried to post this last night, but Blogger wouldn't let me.
My Sock Pal was Michelle. I love these socks! It wasn't hot today, it was overcast and drizzly, so I got to wear them! The colors are great, and as you can see she also sent me a ball of Socka, a Toblerone bar (notice it's open? - didn't make the drive home from town!), and a pocket-sized game like Yahtzee, quickly claimed by the littlest munchkin. (Who also helped with the bar and thought the socks were his! Maybe I'll use the yarn she sent me to make the boys each a pair and maybe have enough for socklettes for me!) We sell Socka at the store, but we don't have much left and none of this color! These socks are even more special because one of her sons was in the hospital and found out he's diabetic, and she still got them done!
Short row heels! :)
I also got some sock yarn that I got on eBay in the mail yesterday. It was a lot brighter in person than it looked on the listing! I like it, but I know hubby will make fun of it. I think it will look good with jeans. I still plan on trying Hederas with it! I would have a picture of it, but Blogger just crapped out on me again and won't upload anything! I've never had trouble til the last few days. Grrrrr!
Maybe more pictures next post!
Happy knitting!

That picture loading thing has happened to me several times. The only thing it will do is one or two pictures at a time.
I have to go. I think I have a tick on me and it is driving me insane!!
Very cool socks :)
I've been having blogger problems as well... I use flickr for image hosting though (but blogger was sloooow yesterday!)
I'm so glad you liked your socks! And they fit! I was very excited to get your comment yesterday & love seeing them in you. ;-) I hope the boys like the game. We are a big game family. How amazing that we share a diabetes connection. M is type 1, which is insulin dependent. (normal ranges for him are 80-180. He runs between 40 & 250 usually. Still good for a kid.)
I hope you get lots of enjoyment out of your socks & the sock yarn. I had alot of fun making them for another Mom of boys. ;-)

Pretty socks! Lucky you!1
Wow, what a lovely package you received, great mail day! These socks are so gorgeous and they seem to fit perfectly! Have fun knitting the Hederas - I just finished mine and they were a mere joy to knit!
I really love the colour of those socks! They look great! I also love the colour of the yarn your pal sent.
I find with blogger that I can usually only post about 3 pictures if I choose the "small" size, and only 2 if I choose the "medium" size. Haven't tried the "large" size for a picture yet, but would probably only get 1 at the rate I seem to be getting with the pictures.
