Happy New Year!
The girls didn't care much for their party hats.
As forecast, we got snow (though not as much as they said) and high winds. Maggie had a ball in it last night.
We stayed home and had some pizza and garlic fingers.
This is what it looked like this morning when I got up. Look at the top of the picture, at the part behind the stones towards the neighbors. You can see how much wind there was basically by the strip of land with no snow. The roads are still quite a mess as the wind has been blowing all day, so it keeps blowing snow back over the road.
Pa stopped in on his way by from the plant where he works with the loader to clear out my little driveway.
Hubs and the Littlest One were plowing the big driveway. All he had to do was clean up a little bit that Pa missed.
Made a ham today. For the first time ever I cooked a real ham, not a boneless pressed toupie ham. The dogs got the bone afterwards. Jewel bit it in half, so that worked out nicely. They do NOT play nice when it comes to real bones. Now there's just a teensy tiny piece left that they'll play with for a day or so before someone actually eats it.
Hope everyone had a safe and happy New Year!
Happy knitting!

The dog did look cute in her new year's hat, even if only for a brief time!
Lots of drifting snow here as well. We just got home from Yarmouth. Left at noon and home by 8:30. But we had LOBSTER!
Happy New Year! Careful with those ham bones. We know a couple who gave one to their dog and it cost about $2000.00 in surgery bills. Got impacted in the belly. Not good. They sure are cute in their hats though!
Happy New year!
