So I didn't give any details on the socks from the last post. They are a kids size 5ish, knit with Knit Pick Memories in smores (gifted from Smoking Hot Needles, thanks!). I used one skein, 2.25mm needles, 52sts and a simple 3x1 rib after a 2x2 ribbed cuff. Ravelry details here.
Still plunking away at that scarf, just over the halfway mark now. Scarves seem to take forever to knit!

Married with 2 boys, two dogs, and a fish tank. I am basically a self-taught knitter of 30+ years (started when I was around 10 years old). My maternal grandmother gave me my first set of knitting needles (which I still have) and some pink and purple yarn.

Nice socks !!!! I hear you about knitting scarves , I'm all gung ho at the beginning , then lose interest half way through . I'm the same with baby blankets . What can I say except that I have a short attention span ...
