It Comes in Threes

What a shame -- even though I was never really a fan, it's sad to hear that Michael Jackson passed away. It comes in threes -- Michael, Farrah Fawcett, and Ed McMahon.

At least we expect it from someone with cancer, although it is still sad. We also expect older people that have been sick, although it is still sad. The hardest part is when someone is only "50". Wow. I was not a fan that went out and bought his records (yes records in my day) or went to his concerts but I did like some of his early music. Plus....how sad....only 50..

I'm a firm believer in "can't save those who won't save themselves".
Michael Jackson had a talent, and then something happened to scramble his brain. That's the truly tragic part. I too prefered his early stuff before it was tainted by his ever increasing creepy personality.

My sister has a theory that he's not really dead, that he faked it somehow. He just needed to get away, so "pulled an Elvis". I don't think she was being serious though :)
What a shame, 3 big losses in a week.

I'm old enough to remember seeing the "Motown 25th" show where he 'moonwalked' for the first time...talk about being gobsmacked...I loved Thriller and his earlier stuff...it's too bad all the creepy weird happened to ruin people's opinions of him, he just kept getting more and more strange.
