Time to catch up of some FOs again. First up are a pair of sock monkey slippers that I was asked to make by a friend. She sent me a picture, so I used
Aunt Maggie's Slippers but did them monkey style. I've been requested to make two more pairs. Not my favorite knit, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Details
here.
Then another friend wanted three pairs of socks. He said he wanted yellow and purple. Closest I had to yellow was this
Herrschners Sock Yarn Stripes in aztec. The pattern is
Jeck. Details
here.
Then there`s a pair of plain old vanilla socks in
Premier Yarns Serenity Sock Yarn Prints in purple spice. This pair was not for my friend who wanted three pairs, I needed some plain old knitting for hockey road trips and games. Details
here.
And here are his last socks, just a plain old 2x2 rib, same yarn as above but in royalty. Details
here.
More socks on the needles. I was requested by a friend to make four pairs on plain socks for her mother in law to take out west for Christmas gifts. Technically five pairs, but one pair was already made. The only draggy thing about it is all four pairs are plain old vanilla in a beige color. Bor-ing! Three pairs men size 8/9 and one pair 13. I`m on the second sock of the second pair. Good hockey knitting, I guess.
Happy knitting!
